Null hypothesis: There is no significance between Jelly Baby colour and their habitat.

If phenotypic frequencies are not under the influence of selection, but only genetic drift, sites of the same type of habitat will not exhibit similar phenotypic frequencies. Separates sites can have prevalent phenotypes or not, but the prevalences may differ between sites of the same type.

Our data shows us that we accept the null hypothesis. The frequencies of the different phenotypes are not statistically different between the habitats. This shows that within the grass habitats there is no difference between the frequencies of colours, this is also true within the bush habitats. This means that selection is not a factor in why different phenotypes are at different habitats; rather it is genetic drift which has caused the different phenotype frequencies in the two habitats.
